Welcome! I’m so grateful you have stopped by my page. My name is Victoria (she/her). I’m a passionate mom of two exuberant dogs, an avid tea drinker and cooking show enthusiast. I’m a Registered Social Worker and have been working in the field since 2014. My journey to social work started with a deep sense of compassion and connection to others, as well as lived experience of mental health, body shame and disability. I am a white, queer, fat, cis-woman located on the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit & Anishinaabek peoples within the Dish with One Spoon territory.
Most of my career has been centred around supporting folks heal from unhealthy relationships, as well as supporting caregivers and their children find solutions to crises and every day problems. I also spent some time as a teaching assistant for social work students, as a medical social worker and as a support group facilitator for folks experiencing a chronic illness. Through all of this, I’ve developed a particular passion for supporting folks through traumas and heal disrupted relationships with their bodies. In working on healing my own relationship with my body, I have come to know that all bodies are worthy of love and respect. I believe that connection, compassion and attunement are key components of the healing process.
When I’m not in session you can catch me lounging with my partner and dogs, reading a good book or singing my heart out in the car.
I have a bachelor of social work and a bachelor of arts. I will convocate my master of social work in November 2025. I am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers #840112.
Welcome!
